KATO WORKS CO., LTD. launches the new mini excavator HD50V5 and HD60V5 for the global market. It is mounted with an environment-friendly EU Stage V/EPA Tier 4 compliant engine. These new models secure further workability and high mileage performance.

• Enhancement of stability
  • Side stability is increased by 4% in comparison to the previous model by lowering the center of gravity.
• Enhanced dumping height
  • Dumping height is higher than previous models.

• Vmax mode and ECO mode
  • Operating mode is selectable. Vmax mode is for speedy operation and ECO mode is for lower fuel consumption.
• Auto-idling function
  • Optimum engine speed is provided automatically in a few seconds after returning the joystick levers to the neutral position.

• Engine start system & safety lock system
  • The engine is turned on when that lever is in the neutral position. Auto-parking brake is activated when the lock lever is raised.
• Emergency engine stop switch
  • It is possible to stop the engine from outside of cabin at emergency situation.

• High-durable Tough Track rubber shoe
  • The durability is improved by spiral structure with great rug pattern and anti-corrosion steel cord.
• X-shaped under carriage
  • It enhances the strength against twist. Mud drainage performance has been increased and cleaning is now carried out with ease.

• Monitor
  • Brand new display with improved visibility of display due to the always lit LED light.
    Engine error code on the display supports efficient maintenance.

• Fully opening rear and side covers
  • It gives you a good access to the engine and other service ports.
